About

Cameron Mitchell Elmore grew up in San Diego, immersing himself in television, film, and theater. And Comic-Con, of course.

His first love was acting. Elmore began acting on stage at San Diego Junior Theatre and, later, at San Diego Starlight Musical Theatre, The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego and the Moonlight Amphitheatre.

He then moved to Los Angeles to study acting for TV and film. Elmore began writing and performing stand-up comedy throughout Los Angeles then studied improv and sketch writing at Upright Citizens’ Brigade, becoming the company’s youngest graduate at the time.

He even performed on the Comedy Central Stage. Elmore also appeared in a principal role in Paramount Pictures’ Scouts’ Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse as well as in a Priceline TV commercial.

All of this led to Elmore into filmmaking. He first took classes at a small film school, the International Academy of Film and Television, which cemented his passion for screenwriting and directing.

Elmore later earned a bachelor of science in film production, with an emphasis in screenwriting and directing, from The Los Angeles Film School and graduated summa cum laude. He is known for his sci-fi and comedy films such Not So Super and Beat Boxing. His thesis film, Secret Space, has won multiple awards and recognition, including winning best sci-fi short at the 2020 Phoenix Film Festival and was an official selection at the 2019 Coronado Island Film Festival.

Cameron Mitchell Elmore was destined to be in the entertainment industry.  Even before he was born, his parents decided to name him after the famous 1950s cowboy actor Cameron Mitchell.
